About us
We provide a safe place for you, which gives life and helps you find your purpose. Counseling is a place to be understood, where you can get healthy in the way you see yourself and others; where you can find freedom from your past and focus for your future.
We can’t promise that all of life’s problems or issues will go away. We can’t always give quick, easy solutions to life’s curveballs or instant relief for its problems.
But what we can promise: A safe place to help you establish boundaries…To find healing…To discover freedom…To set priorities and make a plan. We want people to know that they can have better marriages, better relationships, a better view of themselves and the world around them. They can find balance, joy, and purpose.

Meet Heidi Tinkham
MS LAC
Hello! I’m Heidi Tinkham. I recently graduated with my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. My background is in social work (BSW from MacEwan University) where I utilized a strengths- based and trauma-informed approach to helping families, teens and individuals.
I have training and experience in trauma therapy, EMDR, women’s issues, medical therapy, spiritual companioning, gerontology and supporting families who care for their aging parents. Faith is also important to me and I welcome the opportunity to integrate a faith-based approach to therapy if you as the client prefer that.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and our daughter, taking long walks, antiquing on weekends and sampling new coffee shops.
I believe that no matter what season of life you are in, there is always an opportunity to learn, grow, heal and move forward. Life is more than surviving. It is about learning how to thrive and re-connect with ourselves and those whom we love and care for as we seek peace and renewal. I am honored to be a part of journeying with others through this process.

Meet Rylee Randel
Intern

Hello everyone, my name is Rylee Randel. I am a Marriage and Family Therapy intern with Elizabeth and Associates. In this next year of being an intern I will be completing my degree in Marriage and Family Counseling at Messiah University. My love for therapy started while as an undergraduate student where I was studying both Psychology and Criminology. I have experience working with families of children with disabilities, those dealing with severe substance abuse, as well as family reunification with those who are recently coming out of the prison system. My experience with families has led me to utilizing various approaches and modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, as well as Art and Play Therapy.
My goal as a therapist is to meet each client where they are. When entering a therapy session, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for each client that enters the room. Everybody has an individual story to tell, and my hope is that by entering a therapy session you can continue to work on your individual, relational, and spiritual goals.
I enjoy spending time staying active with family and friends. I travel as much as I can to visit extended family and close friends who are all over the country. Whenever I am not in the therapy office, I try my best to prioritize self-care by reading books and listening to music and podcasts.
